Basically he was injured during Brock fight a doctor prescribed a anti inflammatory drug and he was unaware that it had testosterone as a ingredient. Lmao , oh well atleast it wasnt a year.
Yea, Overeem's a totally honest guy. His problem is that he keeps forgetting that testosterone contains testosterone. Maybe one of these years he'll figure it out!
I like how he skipped the post-hearing drug test, too. As they were handing him his container he apparently rushed off, saying that Golden Glory was in danger of serving him legal papers. Actually he changed his answer a couple times, but that was the final one he gave. Class and honesty, yea. :D. Also his 3rd drug test shenanigan in a row. Thanks for wasting our time, Alistair... it was loads of fun!
Lombard is tremendous signing for the UFC. He's one of the best Middleweight's outside of the UFC. I'm curious to see how he'll hold up against some of the ranked UFC Middleweights.
Bellator released Alexis Vila & Masakatsu Ueda recently, so the UFC should pick them both up. Vila would be a tremendous addition to the thin UFC Flyweight division. Ueda's been one of the top ranked Bantamweight fighters of all time despite his recent loss to Marx. I can see Ueda giving a lot of the UFC Bantamweight problems. I know Bellator's looking to build up new fighters, but releasing fighters like Vila & Ueda is a bad move IMO.
At the UFC 147 press conference in Brazil, Dana announced that Anderson vs. Sonnen was being moved to UFC 148 in Las Vegas and that Aldo could possibly be fighting at UFC 147, but the only possible fighter they could consider a top ranked Featherweight challenger for Aldo's UFC Featherweight Title is Hatsu Hioki, but Hioki's fighting Ricardo Lamas at UFC on FX 4, so the next possible fighter to challenge Aldo for the title is Eric Koch, so don't be surprised if it's Aldo vs. Koch for the UFC Featherweight Title headlining UFC 147 Brazil.
Barao being on the undercard is a really strange. He should get the next shot at the UFC Bantamweight Title against the winner of Cruz vs. Faber. There's no one else besides him and McDonald deserving of a shot. But I'd give Barao the shot first and then to McDonald.
That was the best TUF Live episode the whole season.
Ronda Rousey coming in to train with the guys and tossing the guys around. I think Rousey could beat most of the TUF guys. Rousey coming to the TUF house was kinda crazy. Their reaction watching Jones vs. Evans with Rousey in the house was funny. Rousey asking Tickle for some nuts was funny also.
The build up to the fight focusing on Chris' past was neat. This episode focused on Chris' pasts and it really made him come across as a really likeable dude. Chris' really was the underdog and pulled through.
The fight was a ton of fun. Easily fight of the season.
TUF Brazil is going to have to put on a really good episode next with a good fight as that episode of TUF Live was really that good.
