This weeks episode of TUF Brazil was good again. Another super fun fight. I'm not going to spoil it for you guys, so go watch it yourselves and then I'll reply.
Jamie Varner of all people is fighting Edson Barboza at UFC 146. I used to like Varner when he was the WEC Lightweight Champion but he got into a lot of stuff during the series of fights with Cowboy and Henderson in the WEC. I'm not surprised the UFC is giving him another shot though. Barboza's coming off a nasty Spinning Head Kick KO of Terry Etim and is undefeated, so I wouldn't want to be Varner. Should be a fun fight either way.

Sorry, did you say before that the site streams replays?
This will probably lead to an interim title fight which Faber will win against whoever. Then Faber won't defend it and will just wait for Cruz to get healthy pretty much defeating the purpose of an interim title. Same as the WW title.
If Cruz's injury leads to a Interim title fight, it should be Faber vs. Barao or McDonald, there's no one else more deserving of a Bantamweight title shot than those 2.
Lashley lost to James Thompson at Super Fight League 3. I haven't watched it and probably will at some point, as apparently both guys gassed by the second round. Sounds weird.
Roger Grace is making his Middleweight debut against Jardine at a Strikeforce card in July.
Mendes vs. Palaszewski at UFC 148.
Last weeks episode of TUF Live and this weeks episode of TUF Brazil were a ton of fun. Go watch. The fights were fun also. I'm not spoiling it for you guys.
Delorme vs. Denis is probably ROTY so far fun back and forth round.
Lineker vs. Gaudinot was awesome. Sucks Lineker lost his UFC debut, but he looked amazing Gaudinot. He got hit with some sick punches from Gaudinot but refused to go down. Gaudinot got rocked a bunch of times by Lineker. Gaudinot caught Lineker with a Guillotine Choke and Lineker lost his UFC debut. I'm looking forward to his next fight. Dude is a legit Brazilian Flyweight prospect. Gaudinot is super fun to watch also. I really look forward to both guys next fight.
ariel the little mermaid has reported that rousey - kaufman will be going down in august.
as someone who competed at 155lbs in judo, rousey may walk around as heavy as 160 during training camp. i would not want to be in sarah kaufman's shoes, facing her at 135 and desperately training for the next three months on how not to get your arms dislocated against a 4th-degree judo black belt. yikes.
what an amazing matchup that rousey - santos should be in a year or so. everything that carano - santos should have been...
Braulio flew from Thailand to the UK then to California in a 4 day span, made the weight, and got stood up. Such a bummer for him and all of us that really wanted to see this.
yea, especially a bummer for all the folks who paid $10 a pop to see it streamed live, many of whom were persuaded by diaz' pre-fight announcement that he'd be donating his purse to charity.
meanwhile diaz is chilling in his basement, high as a kite, living it up with his favorite playstation game. good times...
