So who is everyone interested in seing Anderson fight next assuming he stays at middleweight. Hector Lombard could be interesting if he looks good in his UFC debut, but I'd like to see him fight Cung Le. Not because Le is the 2nd best MW or I think he'll beat Silva but it's the only intersting fight I could see just because Le has such a different style than anyone else. I have no interest in seing Munoz or Bisbing fight Silva, they'll get destroyed.

Depends on who wins in the upcoming fights: Lombard/Boetsch and Weidman/Munoz.

Damn, few days ago I had a dream of Weidman beating Silva and taking the belt. Should have said it earlier, it would be more epic if he actually does that, which I doubt, but then again, I thought that dream was stupid and that he won't even get past Munoz...

And a bit late, but it's still funny

^ weidman outwrestled munoz and i sure as hell didn't see munoz getting taken down that easy. you gotta favor silva but i don't know if the gap is gigantic...weidman has underrated grappling and i think silva will have to finish him standing, which of course, he's capable of doing.

i mean, weidman is next in line right? unless they go belcher...they both could use a bit more experience but there's really no one else that stands out. i think rashad should get a tune up fight at 185 if he wants to go that route.

and holy crap was that a late stoppage. munoz was flattened...what the hell was josh waiting for?

LMAO @ that pic

EDIT: dana said it's weidman vs. bisping next, so i guess that settles that

or glove-head teixeria, i guess. gotta respect.

the only real matchup at this point is jones - silva, but both of them can can only make excuses why it shouldn't happen. i.e, the fighters keep their endorsements and the fans spin their wheels. meanwhile dana white seems to have lost his edge.

Apparently Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin are the next TUF coaches.

I don't really get the choices. Nelson is an incredibly tough guy and fairly entertaining but he's basically completely irrelevant when it comes to the top of that weight division. I guess he should make for some good TV at least. Carwin isn't exactly brimming with charisma and I'd be very surprised if we ever see him in a title fight again.

I assume no other higher profile guys wanted to do it.

i really wanted to see cruz vs. faber last go around too. ya, roy has a helluva chin but he just can't finish guys. he can get in slugfests and avoid subs, but after that? carwin is getting up there in age, as if cardio wasn't an issue before. pretty meh, but i was never a big fan of TUF anyway so whatever.

ufc 149 is just cursed with all these injuries. those five main fights just don't interest me all that much
