Anyone else watching? Coach Cal is talking now, his looks worried. Is it because these guys will all be gone and repeating will be impossible next year? He will be having another contending team in 2014 anyway so waiting for a year rebuilding isnt supposed to be that painful? Even for a rebuilding year this team should make it to the tournament as a 4-5 seed at worst.

Really don't see UK being even close to as good next year.
I think they needed to land Shabazz AND Noel in order to have a chance to repeat. They'll still be good next year, I just think it'll be more like top 15 good and not top 5 good. I'm just not sold on Archie Goodwin being someone you can rely on to take games over on the perimeter as a freshman. I'm also not sold on him as a one-and-done. I do think they'll be a very good defensive team again next year but will also be offensively challenged.
Two of those five (Lamb and Teague) probably would have been better served coming back next year but this is the new age of college basketball so it's not surprising.
If we can get Bennett, we would be legit top 5 and I would like our chances, since CBB will be so down overall next season.
As far as I know, Bennett to Florida is a done deal, UK will have to face a tough competition from teams like Florida and Mizzou in SEC. The SEC wont be one-team show next year.

The SEC wasn't a one team show this year.
And if Bennett to UF is such a "done deal" (as some have been saying for weeks), what is he waiting for?
Not saying we'll definitely get him, but he has to see a huge opportunity here. I think he would start over Wiltjer.
Teague should have stayed at least one more year. He's going to sit on someone's bench like his brother did when he first came into the league. Teague would have been a lottery pick in the 2013 draft.

To me this guy just wants to see more drama, like Shabazz Muhammad who had long been a UCLA-lock but kept the door seemingly 'open' for Kentucky so the fans can hope and dream. Not sure why kids love to troll with UK and their fanbase, lol. Hes a UF lock, always was and always will be, aint much to discuss here.
Anyway your team will be preseason No.1 again next year, so one down season should not hurt that much. After all, this is not a NIT-caliber team, they are good enough to make sweet16 at worst.
