I'd do it! We're gonna end up replacing Landry eventually anyway. As much as I like him, once we become contenders,he's not going to be able to cut it as our starting SG.

The Hornets will never accept that CP3 trade.

Must we trade every god damn player? What are we going to get for him? Another pure scorer?

Every good team needs balance and role players that plays defense, hustles and can score ok. He might not be a starter but he'll be a great role player for us. I'm content with him starting or being a 6th man for us next year. We need some defensive players to pair up with Amare and Melo since they aren't going to play and defense.

What I'm more worried about is getting a defensive big and/or PG. Billups looks done to me and I think we all know our glaring weakness is interior defense. Amare doesn't protect the paint. All the playoff teams right now play defense, we need to get on that agenda.

Walsh go after a BIG!!

So essentially are you advocating us getting rid of D'Antoni also?He surely is a significant part of our defensive woes if not the main source.

Illogical to hypothetically or mention a trade of Landry when he is cheap small role player that is coach-able. He has no real value at this point.

Considering his low salary, we would need to package him with someone else (most likely Billups or Turiaf) to get somebody. I'd only trade him for a starting center or as part of bigger deal for a superstar.

While I do think he'll need to be replaced in the future as far as his STARTING role,I think we all can (should) agree that getting rid of him is certainly not at the top of our TO-DO list.I mean I'm sure we can get plenty use out of a 2nd round pick who played his way into a starting lineup and gets payed less than 1 mill a year!
