Even though our team didn't make it (again) I feel there's a lot to watch for this post-season. And the playoff matchups are all set in the East.
1 Chicago
vs.
8 Indiana
2 Miami
vs.
7 Philly
3 Boston
vs.
6 New York
4 Orlando
vs
5 Miami
My predictions
------------------------------------------------------------------------
1st round
1 Chicago
vs.
8 Indiana
2 Miami
vs.
7 Philly
3 Boston
vs.
6 New York
4 Orlando
vs
5 Atlanta
2nd round
2 Miami
vs 3 Boston
1 Chicago
vs
4 Orlando
3rd round
3 Boston
vs
1 Chicago
Don't ask me why. Logically based on how each team has been playing down the stretch, I should have either Miami or Chicago taking down Boston and it is ridiculously against the odds for them to take out both en route to the finals, but somehow I just feel like I can't count them out just yet.
Re: Raps Forum Eastern Conference Playoff Predictions
Nothing would personally make me happier than to see Chicago in the finals and not Miami. It blows my friggin mind to imagine them with Lebron in addition to what they have. Stupid, stupid move on his part. He could have conquered MJ's legacy in his backyard, and garnered nothing but praise for it. I'm hoping Rose does it in his place.
Re: Raps Forum Eastern Conference Playoff Predictions
For all the hate they receive, I think the Heat will come out of the east. Even though their depth sucks, lebron+wade with bosh/haslem/chalmers helping them will be too much for the bulls (Heat-Bulls ECF). Just due to the fact that the heat have 2 guys that can take over the game completely. Also I have yet to see Wade "choke" in a series.
