Whatever they do don't make it public, which is impossible to do. Pull a Deron Williams on him; we don't want another Melo-drama situation again. SMH at a potential Bynum - Howard swap, that would be soooo unjust.

It's really quite sad. He got to the finals when he had a team that could compete but he wasn't ready for that stage. Now that he's ready to take his game to the next level, his team isn't good enough. I don't like to see franchise players jump ship but it's starting to look like Dwight might not have a choice.

Wow! Dwight had a Monster Game, 46-19!!!
Jameerkat had a decent game too, yet the Magic still lost!

What do you mean by the 2009 Magic team could compete?
And they made the Finals that year because of Kevin Garnett's injury.

Good strategy by the Hawks. Al Horford should start at PF forever.

It's going to take a LOT more than Bynum to get Dwight Howard. I just don't think the Lakers have what it takes to get him and even if they do, by the time that happens, a lot of Lakers will be out of the game or dead men walking.

I agree, but what does that have to do with what I said? I don't know the stats of each player, but the team DID step up at times, something I can't see this squad doing. If D12 had been playing at the level he has been this year, you don't think Magic could've had a better outing in the finals?

I'm just saying the timing of his improvement was tragically off.

You might be right.
The Magic with both Shard Lewis and Turk was really good, that's a big mismatch for most teams, as most teams only have a guy to cover one of them, but not both. Lewis and Turk both have length and can spread the floor. It's a shame they couldn't keep both.

D12 has given hints that he wants to play in LA, but don't think the salaries could work out. Bynum, and a couple of scrubs for D12 might work out the salaries, but why would the Magic do that if so many other teams are bidding on D12?

The only way D12 gets to LA is as a free agent which means LA would really have to gut their roster. I don't see us trading him for Bynum, but you never know. Maybe if Kobe is a throw in... . Seriously though, If we lose him to free agency orlando won't be heard from again for a minimum of 5 years. If he doesn't extend before next season starts, we need to trade him at the very least for a first round pick, money, hookers and blow or something.
