As for experience, Batum kicked as last year for us. Rudy can't possibly be any worse. Matthews had to guard Kobe and Melo last year. I think he will be very valuable as far as experience goes.

These playoffs should be awesome because there's greater upset chances in every western series.

yes. In terms of talent, Blazers should win. I just think Dirk wills the Mavs to a victory this series, at least i hope so. Basically this series is going to be about defense, not offense.

I do fear that Dirk is very capable of carrying Dallas on offense, and I doubt Aldridge can match that. If it does come down to defense though, we have all defensive first team Gerald Wallace, and Batum who I've seen shut Dirk down in multiple clutch situations.

Plus there is always Aldridge. We have 3 guys who can switch onto Dirk. I don't know if there is another team out there that has more to throw at Dirk than Portland.

Watch this video to see Batum's defense on Dirk. It shows you that a few times Dirk just abused Batum. In OT, Dirk is forced into 3 very hard shot by Batum all in the clutch. Dirk misses all 3.

Yeah Portland had to depend on Andre Miller scoring 52 which won't happen, but we do have a guy that can both Dirk which is great.

I remember that game well. Dirk had a chance to tie it and he missed that last shot. he was tired as shit though. he had no help that season.

Sorry, but the Blazers are definitely winning Game 1. Andre Miller never loses in Game 1. He upset the Suns last season, Magic, two seasons ago, and then the Pistons three seasons ago.
