The singer who meets Cat and Rodrick in the Crossroads Inn is Marillion. This quote straight from the book:

“My name is Marillion,” the singer said, plucking a string on his woodharp.

Don't blame yourself, having to wait years for the 5th book I have re-read the series a few times.

Apparently Game of Thrones is on track to be the most pirated TV-show of 2012. More than 25 million downloads already, and apparently the episode aired on April 29th hit a new peak of 2.5 million downloads the next day on, may 30. From what I gather the statistics included in this article were cut off on may 1st, therefore the last episode to be analyzed and included in the statistics is the one from 2 weeks ago.

Anyways, these are some mind-boggling stats.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/andygree...-show-of-2012/

25milions/5 episodes, that's 5 million downloads per episode, considering the ratings for the tv show in the united states only are around 3.80 million viewers per episode on average, then it's truly crazy how many people watch it.

Btw, the statistics are compiled from PUBLIC torrent trackers only.

For anyone whos interested my father who has never read the books but watches the show just told me what he thinks is going to happen. Its really interesting to see what he thinks if you read the books..

1. He thinks Catelyn is going to release Jaime to get her daughters back.

2. He thinks Brienne will have a bigger role.

3. He thinks Robb will kill Theon.

4. He doesnt think those boys were the Stark children.

5. He thinks Jon Snow will abandon the wall and go fight with Robb after he hears what happens to his brothers.

6. He thinks Lord Tywin wont die until the end of the war.

7. He said he can see Robb being killed somewhere down the line becuase he is too compassionate.

8. He also said he cant picture Jaime dieing.

Scary how close he is on alot of those. I was amazed at some of the things he said he thought would happen.

I don't know if they indeed are or not, but it's pretty obvious those hanged burned corpses were those random farmer kids. If not there's no reason for them to be all charred up, other than a cliffhanger. Kinda getting a little bummed with a few aspects of this season falling into the general paint by numbers drama honestly.

Have you read the books?

Yeah your father is pretty spot on with a lot of the things he thinks will happen. Some of them are pretty obvious, but still there are lot of twists and turns that no one will see coming.
