So technically can Jaqen kill even the God tier knights due to his magical powers?

How would he fair 1 on 1, in an ambush and in the battlefield?

The Tyrell guy can fight? I can't recall him in battle.

Face changer guy, Jaqen, does his talent change with his face? At this time he's like the top assassin, right?

Thanks.

Yeah, Loras is in the Kingsguard, so he is solid with a sword, although he is best at jousting. If I remember his brother is better with a sword though.

Jaqen's talent does not change with his face, it's just a disguise that changes nothing internally spoiler
(Arya goes through the process and she can't even tell she looks different).

Eddard Stark
Gerold Hightower
Rhaegar Targaryen
Aemon Targaryen
Brienne of Tarth
Loras Tyrell
Khal Drogo
Syrio Forel
Baelor Breakspear
Oberyn Martell
Bronn
Jorah Mormont

I'm ranking these guys in their prime and with swords/weapon of choice (no dragons or anything). This is subjective of course, but I think this accurately lists the general relations of who is stronger to who based on the books. Feel free to argue with me.

1. Arthur Dayne
2. Barristan Selmy
3. Jaime Lannister
4. Sandor Clegane
5. Gregor Clegane
6. Robert Baratheon
7. Rhaegar Targaryen
8. Gerold Hightower
9. Khal Drogo
10. Syrio Forel
11. Oberyn Martell
12. Bronn
13. Brienne
14. Loras
15. Jorah
16. Ned

I'm not going to rank the others because their ability to fight one on one with a melee weapon is not really described at all in the books.

Yeah, but I'm just saying that you don't all the sudden become a great fighter from changing faces. Throw Jaqen a sword and put him against a great swordsman (ie Dayne) and he won't do well no matter what face he's wearing. (Did the spoiler thing).

Thanks Pyscho and Antihero. Your opinions are in high regard.

Pyscho, I didn't know Robert was that good.

Robet Baratheon
Oberyn Martell
Bronn

Decent tier
Loras Tyrell
Brienne
Ned Stark
Rhaegar Targaryen
Jorah

I'd put Drogo in the excellent tier. The guy has never lost a battle. Even Ned said if Robert were to meet the Dothraki on the open field he'd lose. Rhaegar is more than decent and I'd but Brienne in the really good tier.

Robert was a beast in his prime. Killed Rhaegar on the Trident, who was helluva good fighter himself.

Are the Clegane brothers really that good? They seem more like brutes that overpower their foes, not legendary knights that can slice through anyone with skill, speed and precision.

BTW how many more seasons will there be considering where the show is and how many more books there are?

I really hope they make the prequel and show prime Robert and Dayne. And all those tournaments with the legends.

The main reason Robert should be rated so high is because he overthrew a thousand+ year dynasty in the Targaryens. Without dragons or any other supernatural help. Yeah he had a lot of help in the Northerners, Lannisters, and the Vale but the fact he was made king after the war was over is very telling.

There are two more books left making it 7 total in the series. Realistically, with the way the HBO series is gaining popularity and becoming their biggest money-maker, I can see it going ~8 seasons.

It's 100 years before "A Game of Thrones" timeline.

I agree though, they should make a series or something about Roberts Rebellion. GRRM did say though that the further we move along in the story, the further back we'll go too.
Is GRRM close to finishing the books? I heard from book fans that he is dragging that shit on and trying to milk the story with slow progression. Hope that old man finishes everything before he dies.

Knights are not about precision and speed, they wear heavy armor so they are mostly dependent on sheer force and hacking skills. The Mountain is 8 feet and wields a 6 feet sword of course he is the most feared fighter in all of Westeros.
Book 4 and 5 had the total progress of one lazy book so I'm predicting he has to write at least 8 books to finish it.
