How would you rank these guys as fighters? Each in their primes and healthy?
Brienne of Tarth
I'm ranking these guys in their prime and with swords/weapon of choice (no dragons or anything). This is subjective of course, but I think this accurately lists the general relations of who is stronger to who based on the books. Feel free to argue with me.
You should put spoiler up there, there are spoilers in mine too!
I thought they were able to move the muscles in their faces, and also wore faces of other people too. I remember them saying to Arya that if you can move other muscles to make them stronger why not the ones in your face..
Yeah, but I'm just saying that you don't all the sudden become a great fighter from changing faces. Throw Jaqen a sword and put him against a great swordsman (ie Dayne) and he won't do well no matter what face he's wearing. (Did the spoiler thing).
I'd put Drogo in the excellent tier. The guy has never lost a battle. Even Ned said if Robert were to meet the Dothraki on the open field he'd lose. Rhaegar is more than decent and I'd but Brienne in the really good tier.
The main reason Robert should be rated so high is because he overthrew a thousand+ year dynasty in the Targaryens. Without dragons or any other supernatural help. Yeah he had a lot of help in the Northerners, Lannisters, and the Vale but the fact he was made king after the war was over is very telling.
Not close at all it seems.. he's only 1/4 of the way done with Winds of Winter per his last interview. Plus he's writing for the HBO show, plus he's enjoying all the attention and going to every con and interview available, plus he's writing other books... could be a long time before this gets finished.. IF...
FAAACK this nikka better be a healthy fatass. I am hoping to watch the whole series at least in the next decade. How long u think he will drag it on til finishing? 5 years? 10?
Are the Clegane brothers really that good? They seem more like brutes that overpower their foes, not legendary knights that can slice through anyone with skill, speed and precision.
BTW how many more seasons will there be considering where the show is and how many more books there are?
I really hope they make the prequel and show prime Robert and Dayne. And all those tournaments with the legends.
Knights are not about precision and speed, they wear heavy armor so they are mostly dependent on sheer force and hacking skills. The Mountain is 8 feet and wields a 6 feet sword of course he is the most feared fighter in all of Westeros.
Book 4 and 5 had the total progress of one lazy book so I'm predicting he has to write at least 8 books to finish it.
