I know Jaime is becoming a good guy and being all virtuous and stuff, but am I the only one that is annoyed that his go to move nowadays is "I'll tell daddy, you were mean to me and then you will be in trouble."

although ironically joeffrey was right in that scene.

He has only done it for one episode, technically. And what else can he do? He was the best swordsmen in all of Westeros and had his hand chopped off. He can't even eat comfortably. I'm sure his real journey will began when/if he does get back to Kings Landing. Obviously he can't use his father as leverage then... (this is me just making a guess btw I have not read the books)

Yeah, Joffrey was good in that scene. The actor that plays Joffrey does a damn good job.

I am rewatching Season 1 and my hate for Jamie is reignited.

No matter how "good" he is and how sorry for him we feel now, can't forget he is still the same douche. Man it's only been 2 years but all the actors from Season 1 to 3 look around 4-5 yeards older.

I can't remember, but what happened when Jamie killed that boy he was sharing a cell with? Why did he do that, and who was the boy? Wasn't he a squire or something?

He attacked his cell mate only so the guards would come and he could escape. I don't remember exactly, but I don't think he killed him.

He was actually Jaimes one time squire but so long ago he barely remembered. He killed him so the guard would come in...who he killed to escape the first time...which is why the old Karstark wants Jaime dead...the guard was his son. And Jaime killed his other son in battle.

Dude in the cage initially was a Lannister/Frey(bad combo) but was being sent back and forth with terms from Robb to Cercei. He wasnt caged till he brought guards who tried to free Jaime and they didnt know if he was in on it or not.

In the books he wasnt killed. He went with Jaime and Brienne to Kings Landing but died on the way. Which of course isnt a spoiler since hes already dead on the show.

It really is amazing watching his transformation as a character. I won't spoil anything but Tyrion goes through a huge transformation as well. His and Jamie's redemption from being cocky ass Lannisters are one of the reasons I liked the books so well.

I won't spoil it either but when he suddenly grows to 6'3 it's pretty cool.

looking forward to the next 3 episodes..

not so much to the next season though, a feast for crows seems to have an awfully slow beginning.
