Not true. No Bolton was ever King in the North. They did rebell against the Starks (and lost)and were generally one of the strongest families in the North, however.

literally my reaction after that episode

I knew this episode was buzzworthy for a reason but holy fvcking shit... that was unreal...

Catelyn Stark was annoying but goddammit I actually liked Robb/Talisa...

Got scared as hell when Arya showed up. If they would've killed her off I would've stopped watching

But seriously...here I am about to post on Dany's supreme badassery in the outlands and then the show pulls this off...

Its about time the House of the Wolf gets its revenge, Starks been getting raped enough already...

Stannis could have easily won the war if he had around 30 leeches

I like the scheming and perhaps they will flesh out someone like Darkstar.

It wouldn't make him the next heir because he's a member of the NW though.

They could always give a body to the Nights Watch in exchange for one. They tried it w/ Maester Aemon.. Who know's if Jon Snow would have accepted though.

After this event, Jon is going to have to lead Winterfell and take his father's name, and finally become the man he was destined to be:

F-ck you, Reggie Miller Lannister.

Robb is older, Ned impregnated Cat on their wedding night before he went to war against the mad king. One of the reasons Cat hates Jon so much is he represents that betrayal to her.

Spoiler in White
Well atleast she believes he does...

Volantis is so far away it would be impossible, it takes months to travel just from kings landing to winterfell.

Having read the Red Wedding AFTER watching it on screen, it was done much better on screen. Even if i had read it first, i can't imagine having been all that emotional about it, especially since in the show it was an all out slaughter and while it was intended to be that way in the book, it still seemed like somewhat of a fight, thought it was still a slaughter. And it was a good idea to replace the hostage grandson with the hostage wife as the line "i'll find another" was pretty classic.

What the book did do better was the scene with Arya on the outside. In the show it seemed to lack the emotion that appeared in the book, especially when it came to her conflicting feelings on the Hound.
