they have quite a few pointless scenes. most of the sex scenes are rather pointless. i mean we get they take on male lovers already, or like sex in general, just very gratuitous in that area sometimes. there have also been small conversational scenes that really didn't turn into anything but not easy to remember since they were rather pointless. i know there were quite a few involving Cersei in S1.

Dontos is important but as Littlefinger says later in the books(unrelated issue for the record)...there are only two kinds of people in their world. Players and the pieces. Dontos is a piece. But what hes doing has a purpose.

Id say Littlefinger, Varys, Tywin, and Tyrion are the only players in the city. And the best is hard to tell for some time.

It gets to be rather obvious though.

You don't need to downplay the future reign of King Dontos. Everyone will enjoy it.

Cersei is a piece being quietly manipulated by the best player. Shes the most powerful of the pieces...but shes a piece. Shes the queen piece if we are sticking with chess.

Sansa is actually the most valuable piece.

Edit: Oh, you said most powerful, never mind.

There are like 1000 characters spread over 5 books and 3 are gay.

The rate at which people are gay in real life is higher. They just didnt start being shown on tv till recently.

Book readers should be putting more things in spoilers so as to not ruin the show for the non book readers. Let them discover the wonders of GOT without them getting hints about whats to come or how important certain characters are.

Yeah it'd be much more manly and respectable if he suppressed his homosexual desires because he is too scared of people judging him if he acted on them. Takes balls to be who you are man, if you want cock then go for it and don't be a little bitch.
