yes you are right, also keep in mind that the books are written from a POV perspective with each chapter taking the reader through the eyes and memories of a character.

Some of the info given is wrong

We could see Daenerys as a child too.

as much as i want to see/read a prequel, GRRM needs to hurry up and finish the current series first. i have a feeling he's going to pull a robert jordan on us although to be honest, i rather enjoyed brandon sanderson as a fill in.

Meh, I thought the episode was so-so. It never bodes well for an episode if the Dany portions are not the most annoying ones...

Anyway, the meeting at the Iron Bank was just silly and unconvincing, and the scene with Theon felt rushed and was a poor excuse to set up what's coming next. What really bothered me, though, was the trial. Tyrion was great as ever, but the whole thing echoed the awful fascination of Hollywood with the US justice system. Had an almost B-movie feel to it.. Oberyn's dialogue with Varys and the Tywin/Jaime tête-à-tête at least saved the episode from worse..

Comments like this make me wonder if they are watching the same thing as the rest of us.
