Did you get up to the part where he gives the sword to Jamie? I think thats where Tywin says for sure. The Tyrion part was mentioned in either book 2 or 3 and again in book 5 in a chapter I just read today. That's why I know so well. It's not really a spoiler because Tyrion already talks about wishing to go with his Uncle on that trip in book 2 or 3.

Dont worry Jon is just gonna join the long list of the supposed dead who came back since the Red Wedding. I always believed Martin ran out of death coupons after he killed Robb but I never thought he would make this ridiculous come back from the dead a common practice. Cat, Arya, Brienne, Sandor, Gregor, Davos just off top of my head and Jon is gonna be probably reincarnated as Azor Ahai by a kiss of fire from Mel or extremely healed. Either way its not gonna be Jon anymore though which is why I loathe this and I pray to the old gods that he remains dead.

You can add Tyrion to your list. The last chapter I read Tyrion was apparently drowned by a stone man, with the close of his perspective going to black, but I'm unwilling at this point to even believe that he's dead.

Just finished Cerseis first chapter. Thanks for letting me know about Jon guys. ....

Anyway I went back a few pages to find the article about Jon's parents and saw an interesting post calling Jaime the LeBron of Westeros and it got me thinking of which characters would be which basketball players in Westeros.

Robert Baratheon: Micheal Jordan- Took Westeros by storm and won the crown.

Jon Arryn: Scottie Pippen- He was a key reason why Robert won his rebellion.

Ned Stark: Tim Duncan- He's quiet, loyal and all about doing what he has to do in order to win.

Robb Stark: Allen Iverson- He won all the battles, but never won the war. A few setbacks later and he was an afterthought in Westeros.

Jaime Lannister: LeBron James- Granted all the talent in the world, but arrogance and a few tough decisions have him labled as one of the most hated men in Westeros.

Jon Snow: Jon Wall- He's young and talented but he has limited options around him to work with yet he has high expectations.

Jorah Mormont: Stephon Marbury- Exiled from Westeros, he is now playing the Game of Thrones overseas in a far away land, hoping one day to return to Westeros and reclaim his position.

This is all I feel like doing for now but if you have any more ideas, post them.

OK then I'm a bit ahead of you, maybe two chapters. You'll be surprised!

He's talking about ASOS but to answer your question, yeah. I have like 8 chapters left which means I haven't even got to the best parts yet because they are always at the end and I feel its better.

I'm not even close to the end, I'd say just less than halfway, and I'd already say that book five is much better than book four. But that's to be expected to some degree. It's got Jon and Tyrion in it, replacing Sam and the worst of Arya. And I actually liked all the Dornish stuff in AFFC, which I know some people didn't. Along with all the Cersei stuff which carried that book.
