Be yourself and seek out people with similar interests.

Try alcohol. It seems to loosen everyone up and lowers inhibitions.

Nowadays, I kind of seem to prefer being alone, but it's not due to social anxiety. I don't mind going out and doing social things, but it just seems so blase. Everything seems to have that 'been there done that a million times' feeling.

being alone makes you appreciate your company more, a long distance relationship really puts you through that test

logically speaking, there is no use for fear and insecurity, you have your ideals and values set in stone, you have your family, everyone else is replaceable

the only thing close to social anxiety i feel is when im on the bball court and i make one or two many mistakes during a game

if they are a bunch of friends of your parents, then stay in your room

if there are people of your age group, socialize

just socialize bro. honestly, you don't even need social skills, all you need is to be nice and get a long with people, so if your a nerd or geek, let go of your principals of arguing and all that anime and sh!t. i've met a lot of kids who are loners but they don't notice that they push people away with their bs of trying to be a smartass. fck your anime. be nice and get a long with anyone. that's how you become a charming and enticing person, kindness.

Perhaps you are too comfortable being alone. Force yourself to go outside of your comfort zone. You're probably overthinking it too much.

I don't have time to worry about this girl or this guy, etc

But I guess that comes with me becoming really apathetic over the past few months

that's something you don't hear everyday. i can respect that

I think I have social anxiety. Not necessary scared of social situations but I'm one of those people who have a hard time getting close to people. Or if I'm getting sick of them I try to avoid them, which I've done to every close friend I ever made. It might not even be social anxiety, it's probably more to due with me having a lone wolf personality. I'm not even bothered to be diagnosed and I don't feel sorry for myself either if I don't have that many friends or if I'm not out on weekends.

And speaking of social situations, I just had my first Easter dinner ever. And to top it all, it was at the home of a Haitian family. I don't think I've ever been inside a black family's home before. Both the Haitian lady's daughters were hot too, maybe I should get close to one of them. P.S. they are in their 20's so they're legal. :P

you're right...relationships are easy to find though, but real actual love is hard to find

it is crazy how we are nothing without each other...

we need love, we are nothing without it...
