Default ATL in the second round

I see the Bulls winning in 5, possibly a sweep if Kirk is out.

No way. Atlanta can take us to 6. I'd be shocked if it was a sweep.

I don't see a sweep. I'm saying we take them in 6. Possibly 5 if they don't have Kirk.

Did Kirk get hurt tonight?

Yup. Leg/knee injury it looked like. He'll have an MRI.

He limped down the court, and got carried to the locker room.

Ooh...geez. I don't really believe Kirk can do all that much to slow down Derrick at this poin;t but it certainly is even better for the Bulls if Hinrich is less than his best in the 2nd round.

I wish Capt. Kirk a full recovery as soon as the Bulls defeat the Hawks.

Hawks are reporting it to be a Hamstring. Which can be a funny injury that lingers for a month or two, or it can go away after a day.

Either way, Kirk or no Kirk, this is going to be an easy series.

I doubt we sweep. I'd bet on a 6 game series.

I don't like how we match up with Crawford and Johnson and Horford.

I'm not worried about Horford, he's a great player. But there is no way in hell Noah let's him get the best of him.

We're going to dominate the glass in this series. Win the rebound game and let D Rose do D Rose.

Horford is playing PF now....he'll be matched up on Boozer and Taj.

$10 says Noah and Horford will be matched at times during the games. It wouldn't make sense not to put our best defender on him down low.

And I could easily see Noah lobbying to guard him with their history.

Collins and Pachulia started at C because Marvin Williams was recovering from an ankle injury, so Larry Reed changed the gameplan to force Howard to go to the line more often and utilize his weak FT shooting.

I'm not so sure that the Dwight gameplan will carry over. The Hawks REALLY like what Marvin Williams can do, and he was playing like his normal self in Game 6. I just don't see Atlanta going with a Josh Smith vs Luol Deng matchup for the entire series. They will want to use Joe Johnson on Deng, so they can exploit Bogans, and Horford on Noah to exploit Boozer. Horford HAS had his way with Carlos before, but he wont have his way with the Bulls at the 4, when Taj, Kurt and Noah all play both the 4 and 5.
Apples and Oranges.

Either way Booz's matchup looks bad.
