Yes, but it would still have to be voted on, scrutinized, etc... so once again, it would not be a "done deal" in 2012 either....

Huge mistake. Either sign a long term contract, or get out of town. I don't see how hanging around Sacramento one more year is going to change anything. The city still won't pay for a new arena, the Maloof's still won't pay for a new arena, the economy is still decimated, and I highly doubt people show up to watch the Kings for a rent-a-season.

It's the best they could of hoped for. For a minute it look almost certain the Kings were out. It still gunna be a stretch but they have a shot of making it happen now. I honesty think it won;t and the Maloof's will be out end of nest season (whenever that happens).
