When Boston loses this series in 5
Will Ainge take all the heat or will old age be blamed?

It'll be both, but I suspect that Ainge will be REAMED by the Boston media, and fans if the Celts do happen to lose this series.

Given away Perkins, they lost some physical presence. When they signed Shaq at first, they were dangerous, but they're definitely declining although they're still consistent.
Injuries were also a factor, I wouldn't judge it either way honestly.

Is it just me or are we being bent over by the refs just a tad?

Probably less than if they lost to the Lakers or a team with a dominant big.

Stop complaining about the refs... The game was reffed fine. If your a C's fan boy, you can't watch the game properly, same if your a Heat one. The thing is I ain't a fan boy of those two teams, and I can watch the game without complaining. The game was reffed evenly on both sides.

There were a lot of little fouls called on the Celtics but it's hard to tell in real time whether the Celtics players are just shoving them or they're just superstar calls for good acting..
Anyway if they do lose the blame should be put solely on Danny Ainge IMO. Tony Allen, Kendrick Perkins, Nate Robinson all serviceable role players and all they have to show for it is Jeff Green for a franchise as good as the Celtics that is some terrible GM work.

Rivers is set in his ways , and before the big 3 joined forces , Doc was on the brink of getting fired.
My point is he has an athletic player not getting enough minutes in Green - who Ainge had traded for ...
he should of been averaging 28-32 minutes in the game.
* he can play SF as well a SG.
Don't count Boston out yet , game #2 showed the old Heat flayingly losing points at the end of the game , when they thought it was a sealed deal.
IF Coach S. doesn't tighten the reins on his players ,,, the Celtics will always be in the game with less than 2 minutes left.
