Bulls win, as I predicted.

It will be interesting to see if Rose remains in distributor mode for the ECF. The Bulls are better when Rose plays a more pass-first role.

Not necessarily. You can tell this dude is talking out his ass and didn't watch the Bulls this year.

He distributes enough, it's just tonight he finally got help.

First game all playoffs they had a legit second option all game. Boozer finally woke up and was converting all the looks Rose got him.

Rose is a good distributor. He can do both, score and fascilitate. It's why he's MVP.

I hope so. A lot of people think Rose is pass-first only when the Bulls get going, but it's really that the Bulls get it going a lot more easily when Rose looks for his shot last, and Boozer/Deng first. Rose can get it going whenever he wants, and with age and experience I think he'll realize that.

What a pathetic display of heart by the Hawks.

12 fouls commited.

I'd be pissed as a fan.

Rose has been forcing things all postseason, even with Luol Deng as a good second option throughout.

He took 14 shots and 3 FTs this game, well below his playoff averages, and it led to a Bulls win.

Nobody is saying Rose is not a good distributor; he just has not been distributing enough.

Bad execution at the end by the Hawks.

Teague, Crawford and Horford had poor games.

Williams needs to be traded. He is simply not a good fit for Atlanta.

The Hawks should have gone with the other bigs at times in this last game, since Al was wearing down. Drew should have played Armstrong, Powell and Thomas more to wear down Boozer. Even a twin towers lineup at times of Pachulia and Collins would have helped.

The Hawks need a forward who can run offense, a la a Mike Dunleavy off the bench - 12-18 minutes per night. Someone who can handle the ball, pass the ball and shoot outside.

Who knows how it would have turned out if Captain Kirk had played, but we lacked depth. Need another backup point guard.

Overall a successful playoff run - we beat Orlando, when no one thought we would, and we won 2 games against Chicago (although we could have won the series with better execution and shot selection). We played hard and fought hard.

Also Joe Johnson needs to work on his low post, which is pretty much nonexistent. That would have helped the offense out big time.

Josh Smith improved a lot this post-season, with a better low post game and better shot selection. He needs to keep it up.

Marvin Williams, if not traded, needs to work on his 15-18 jump shot and his ball handling ability. If he can't score, he can at least bring the ball up and pull his man out of the paint.

Rose dumps the ball in the middle, the middle guy does crap with it, brings it back out to Rose, there's 5 seconds left in the shot clock, forcing him to take a near shot-clock ending 3-pointer.

Just an example of what it's been like for much of the play-offs with Boozer playing like crap and Deng being the only other sensible person who could sort of get his own shot.

You are right though, I think the Bulls are best with Rose getting his team-mates going first and then taking it into gear in the 4th quarter. The last two games, I think the polish is starting to come together.

Maybe next year, he will learn.
