Default The NBA wants Miami vs OKC

might as well just face the facts.

LeBron vs Durant
good vs evil
major market vs small market
the decision vs home grown/drafted talent

It won't happen. It's clear that Chicago has Miami beat. The better team will win, unless injuries screw the Bulls over.

er miami is not a major market, they dont even that that many fans, they cant even fill up their home playoff games.

Chicago is the 3rd largest market, dallas is the 4th largest market .

I don't think so. I think Chicago/Dallas would pull better ratings than OKC/Miami. and the NBA wants the ratings.

Bingo.

Any meddling to go on will likely be such.

Chicago/Dallas would get huge ratings from those two markets but I think Miami/OKC would get bigger ratins overall.

Chicago/Dallas are big markets too.

I don't think the NBA would necessarily mind that.

Lower ratings for this year may actually help Stern this summer in CBA negotiations.

The NBA (meaning Stern) wanted LAL vs Miami and that's shot.

It will likely be Dallas vs Chicago though...and that's just fine (by Stern). Just enough stars and storylines to pop good ratings.

LOL at miami being a big market team Before Lebron came, the fans in Mia couldn't even fill up my grade school's B-ball court. The bulls are way more popular than the heat will ever be. Cmon, the GOAT played for us and we have our MVP that's on the rise

And homegrown?! Who exactly was born in OKC?! Homegrown belongs to us with our number 1 pick and with a 1.7% chance.. OKC vs CHI is where its at, these two will be the face of the NBA for a lot of years to come
