Default Chris Bosh played great today, silencing many critics

30 points and 9 boards.
12/18 shooting.

2nd best player on the court today behind Rose.

I believe he deserved ALL NBA THIRD before Randolph, but Melo was really above both.

In other news Lebron dropped a cookie when scratching his ass, not really thread worthy but maybe worth a sticky.

:)

he probably got those stats because the gameplan wasn't geared towards him.

It wasn't geared to Magloire either but he didn't drop 30/9.

Maybe Bosh is a great player?

I might be reaching, he is only 'half a man'.

Yup. It's only a matter of time before Bosh consistently puts up games like this. Okay, he might not put up 30, but you know what I mean. Ray Allen's first year in Boston is a perfect example. He struggled as the third option, and was the forgotten man. He eventually found his groove and destroyed the Lakers in the Finals, and was in the running for Finals MVP.

Bosh isnt about to silence critics by being a distant third on his team who has big games now and then. Nobody thinks Bosh isnt capable of having solid statistical games on a team where no opponent is terribly concerned about him. He had games like that all the time when the D actually had to gamplan to stop him.

Ive just said for years I wasnt all that impressed with him as a first option. As a third option hes outstanding. As good as anyone could hope for. But he was never a franchise level guy to me.

He cant prove otherwise as a third option on a team that would be good without him.

All he can prove at this point is that he wont stand in the way of success by failing to do all this team needs out of its bigmen...which is being in the right spots, defending, rebounding(big issue today), and making the plays there for them.

Guy got a lot of tipins, quick putbacks, layups off other peoples penetration, layups off outstanding passes, and a couple faceup moves with good finishing. But he didnt just take over the game which is obvious....since they got blown out.

He just did what good third options are supposed to do on a contender. Go off now and then and keep the defense from forgetting you are there.

ZBo>Bosh and Melo

Neither Melo or Bosh have ever played with the passion that ZBo displays regularly.

Call me when Bosh helps limit Bulls grab how many offensive rebounds again?

Or maybe thats too much of me to ask.

somebody needs to grab Bosh by the collar and teach him how to box out. let Anthony challenge the shot and have James and Bosh box out. fkn A!

They got absolutely destroyed on the boards and the majority of Bosh's points came when the game was close, when the Bulls started crapping on them he completely disappeared. Bosh needs to be a consistent presence in the middle for people to get off him, not an occasional big scorer. he needs to rebound, defend. and give Miami size in the middle so the others can do their things. Right now they need to go big and put Lebron at 4 to cover up some of Bosh's deficiencies.

I fail to see how Bosh having a nice statistical game in a game the Bulls destryed the Heat in is going to silience critics.

You can't toot your guys horn after a bad loss. The series is young, save the trolling for another day, you guys will win some games too. It's not like you wont get your chance to scream WOO WOO over a member playing up to their potential.
