If Perkins tripped and flew into a player during a shot, it's still a foul. If Perkins backs into a player who's taking a shot without looking, it's still a foul.

In both cases, that's "inadvertent". But they're still fouls. Since when have you started thinking players have to intentionally foul in order to be called for it?
