there are players that drive with the purpose of going straight to the free throw line (Pierce,CP3) , and then there are players that are fouled every play just to stop them from scoring (Howard,Dirk) .
this is what happens when all the fouls are actually called, thats why Dwight always complains. but if they did call all the fouls then it would ruin the game and make it boring
If you don't want Dirk shooting free throws, don't touch his arms, hands, face, etc. when he shoots.
There were some bad calls both ways today and the refs were trigger happy, but the Thunder were clearly frustrated by Dirk. I watched all game and started watching all the replays because of poor reffing early on, but most fouls on Dirk were completely legit.
He was lights out and they couldn't guard him properly without fouling.
The Thunder still shot more free throws than the Mavs despite Dirk raping the Thunder defense with unguardable shots.
