It will reduce the fanbase.

So who do they trade Rubio to since he's coming?

My understanding is that if Rubio waits one more year, he'll be off his rookie scale contract. Meaning Wolves will be forced to give him market value, whatever that is. If you don't play in the NBA for three years straight, rookie scale doesn't apply anymore.

If he starts on Wolves this year, he has to start on his rookie scale.

Which brings the question how long does Minny have the rights to him ??
Just that rook contract period , or indefinitely ??

If he is as pure a PG as everyone has stated over the last couple years, he would be worth his weight in gold.
It means he would open the floor with his passes , while these current high breed PG's like Rose dimes out 6 per game , and is 1st option on offense.

Last time I saw a pic of the guy , he looked like a noodle , worse than Durant .

This is exactly why I don't take posters views on Rubio seriously. Suddenly Irving becomes overrated and is scared of being exposed( Even though he's drawn numerous comparisons to Isiah Thomas and Chris Paul) Just because he doesn't show up to a simple draft workout. Just like as soon as Rubio didn't come to the NBA his first year every body turned on him and claimed he was overrated and scared of the Nba even though he was so talented he was getting Nash/Pistol comparisions.

I mean this forum is crazy sometimes just like How Lebron suddenly sucked because he went on a team with another superstar.

Why does this forum believe that a player gets worse suddenly just because a player doesn't carry on their career in a way that poster seems fit.

He has lost a lot of confidence and has lost part of his imaginative style of play.Too much media pressure have hurt their progress, and reach to the NBA is the best option currently.

I predict two possibilities:

He makes a good rookie season, in which case could be consolidated as a solid PG.

Have a disappointing season in his rookie year, in which case could return to Europe in 2 or 3 years.

He is the perfect PG for us as he is a good defender and an excellent passer who runs the offense and will be very good in transition which is a big part of the Wolves game. From what I have seen and heard is that he can't score outside of the paint but that doesn't really bother me as we don't really need anymore scorers and whoever will be backing hi up (Flynn or Ridnour) are both scoring PG's.
