The fact that Suns could sweep and humiliate the Spurs in 2nd round proves that the Spurs really were supposed to be a 7th seed.

Not true, playoffs are all about matchups. A championship team is not always the best team in the league.

Most of the world and unbiased ppl already have Kobe in their top 10's...Kobe has the multiple finals MVP's, will be known as one of the greatest players of our Era, and this era's Jordan.....Life be good....Kobe is getting older, so it's nice to see sick ass players like Rose and Durant taking over the NBA.

lmao. That is QUITEE a ****ing task homie... quite a task.

Only ones who have potential from the ones who are not in the top 10 is lebron (don't see wade getting in there). Maybe durant... but that is a huge maybe

This dosen't even take into account clutch plays and defense, which no other perimeter/wing player was on Kobe's level back then in those categories.

During championships runs he's put up 21/5/4, 29/7/6, 27/6/5, 30/5/6 and 29/6/6. What more do you want?

He put up 35ppg on Sacramento in 2001 and 33ppg on San Antonio and despite shooting 41-42% he had a good all around series vs Philly (25/8/5) and didn't he put up 27/6/5 on 51% shooting vs New Jersey in the 2002 Finals and 27ppg vs the Kings in the 2002 WCF? Hell, IMO, Kobe was the 2nd best player in the entire 2001 playoffs behind Shaq. Also had an excellent all around series vs Orlando in '09 (32/6/7), 34ppg vs Denver in the WCF and a good all around series vs Boston in '10 (29/8/4).

But of course Kobe detractors hold him to a higher standard than everyone else.

Quoting for emphasis.
