Default Eliminated in the first round? Bulls should have just tanked.

WTF happened to them this series? This is not the same team that played so well the second half of the season. They should have just tanked and gotten a good pick in the draft.

Idk if u kids on here understand this but tanking is considered ENJOYING losing or accepting losing. Last i checked sports is about winning. I guess anybody who dont make it to the finals should just tank? Playoff experience is far greater than tanking for draft picks when u drafting unproven talent. Remember that.

First, I'm not a "kid".

Second, this Bulls team already has plenty of experience in the playoffs.

Finally, this draft is supposed to be full of talent. If the Bulls were just going to collapse in the first round, why even bother making it?

They couldn't tank if they tried. At least not with Noah and/or Thibs on the team.

So then they make it to the first round where Noah has been pretty useless this series and Thibs is too stubborn to play more than 7 guys.

The bulls weren't playing well everyone else was sucking. This team has always been a weak playoff team. No offense.

"Defense wins championships" is just a cliche. You need balance and that obviously includes offense. The Bulls have no one to get easy scoring from and that has been exposed this series.

In the big picture, it was a wasted year for the Bulls but there was no way to avoid that. You're not going to trade good players like Noah and Gibson. The East was bad that even if they dealt other parts, they'd still probably make the playoffs. It was basically impossible for the Bulls to tank this year.

That's assuming they lose this series.

Thibs and Noah couldn't let the team tank. I don't think they could have been one of super bad tanking teams (a la Philly) but they probably could have gotten, what, a mid-to late lottery pick? That's good enough to get a serviceable rotation player in this draft.

Should have gone this route. But you can't force a coach or players to quit on the season. Team's too prideful, which is commendable, but ultimately messed up their draft situation.
