Default What would it take for the Bulls to get Rudy Gay?

Without giving up one of their core players (Rose, Deng, Boozer, Noah, Gibson, Asik)?

Given current (and prospective) CBA rules regarding player trades.... it is simply impossible.

Who do you think would be the best shooting guard out there available in a trade or free agency that would fit with the Bulls the best?

Kyle Korver straight up...lol

I would trade KK for a kegger of beer and some brand new basketballs.

Eric Gordon, from a financial standpoint, makes more sense. His contract is much easier to swallow and he would likely thrive even more on a team with championship aspirations like Chicago.

It would take Gibson or Asik, and Chicago will say no right away.

They need to get another Rudy, Rudy Fernandez.

Portland has a bunch of wings, but they always get a great deal, so I don't know what Chicago can give up to get Rudy Fernadez.

Eric Gordon will not be made available by the Clippers for anything less than Derrick Rose from the Bulls. Come on now.

As for this summer.... I can expect the Bulls to focus their entire spending on signing Aaron Afflalo to a multi-year deal.

Threes and D.

Hah, I never said it was a realistic possibility. He asked who would be the best and, for the required skills and the money, Gordon is a great choice. Obviously Chicago would have to move heaven and earth in an attempt to pry him out from the Clippers and shake up that young core, but even more head-scratchers of trades have taken place in recent memory. One thing I've come to learn, particularly now after the Kendrick Perkins trade a few months back, is nobody is untouchable.

1 - lol
2 - Why do you want to keep Deng with Rudy Gay coming?
3 - I wouldn't do it, but since the Grizzlies did so well without Gay, they might like Deng, since he is cheaper, so that would be the Bulls angle.

I think the Bulls are best off with a spot up shooter like Jamal Crawford.

It wont happen. The bulls have nothing the grizzlies would want or need past rose. Besides, the bulls don't strike me as franchise that be willing and commited to putting a winner on the floor like the lakers. Jason richardson would be perfect for the bulls. He can get his own shot and he shoots the 3 at a high %. And he solid defensively.

What's the deal with that pick the bulls got from the bobcats in the tyrus thomas trade?
