I think he'll start doing on court stuff in about a month or two. First time around I saw video of Oden dunking in pre game warmups in March of 08. Add 2 months to that because his surgery was in November instead of September.
So probably in a month or 2 he'll be able to do light stuff like that. I think either way, Portland is going to make him wait until November/December to get back on the court. They want it to be a full 12 months.
I heard on some Blazer talk shows that he is at the practice facility lifting weights and doing the typical rehab stuff.
Ben Rohrbach: Grousbeck on offseason: big sign & trade a possibility, Celtics need more help at 2-3-4 & Oden is on the radar ("How could he not be?") about 5 hours ago
knicks wont do that, trading an injury prone and a decent sg for another injury prone is dumb
Nah man!
Once Oden is in New York they give him a health potion which lasts for exactly one year. He plays up to his potential til the AS Break, putting up 22/14 with amazing defense. There the Knicks trade him, Billups and Balkman for CP3.

I would love him on the Knicks. Top 5 center when healthy, which is never. But his size and skill alone would help NY as long he can get on the court. Neither Amar'e nor Melo have played with a center of Oden's size and skill.
