And that just shows U how Great Lebron is still averaging 27 ppg this series against Bulls..BTW Lebron is Better than Battier and Artest on Defense at tis point..Lebron had to play against 3 of the best Defenders and Defenses in these Playoffs in the League and Still 2nd overall behind Dirk in Overall performance.

Umm, yeah, last year they had Jermaine O'Neal and Haslem (who missed just about all this season) to go along with Wade and a much more complete bench.

This year they've basically had Wade, Bron as their above average defenders. Joel Anthony slightly above average. And that's it. Chalmers missed some games and only played 22 minutes a night anyway.

And the Heat got better defensively.

No he is not a better defender than Battier. Not hard to score on 1 on 1 defense when you have Wade and Bosh to take off pressure

i agree, but tony allen got lit up by both durant and westbrook in certain moments in their series against the thunder. goes to show you that a great defender on a team that isnt entirely concentrating on defense sometimes goes wasted.

Only 1 guy has safely more impact defensively than Lebron and that is Dwight Howard.
Lebron is not just a great defender, he is the most versatile defender in the NBA, thats why he has more impact than anybody defensively (except for Howard).

Somebody like Tony Allen can defend a guard somewhat better than Lebron i guess, but can he defend the rest of the positions to and how well can he guard them? Can Tony Allen guard Derrick Rose efficiently, then switch to guard a PF and even some Centers (40 mpg for 82 games + in playoffs)? I dont think so and thats exactly what Lebron is doing.

My point is, only a Lebron hater can name you 5 (and much more) "better" defenders, in reality there is nobody clearly more impactful defensively than Lebron besides Dwight Howard.

Lebron help defense his one on one defense and defensive rebounding,defensive versatility,there is not a better wing defender in the league.Miami suffers greatly as soon as he goes out.Surely there are better one on one defenders or better rebounder(crash) but his combinatio,nobody has that.
