This is a very good, veteran basketball team.

Typical retard mentality though to judge a team by how many allstars they have. Jason kidd brought more to Dallas in this series than westbrook brought to OKC despite westbrook being the 'allstar.'

must... keeeep..... making the mavs look like an all-time great team..... to save..... kobes reputation.... mustt...... do it...

Good for him get off this man it doesn't matter the more people try to shove uber Dirk down people's throat the less credit he'll get if he doesn't win it all out of sheer bitterness just let it go.

I actually agree with most of this post. Doesn't change the fact that this team needs Dirk playing at a legendary level to win.

Again.

If the Mavs do win it all it would be arguably the 2nd most impressive title run by a superstar since 1975.

Only Hakeem in 94 would be for sure more impressive. Duncan in 03 would be debatable because the teams the Mavs have to beat would be a lot more impressive.

I'd probably give Duncan the edge regardless because he was simply a better player.

Dead serious.

Jason Kidd:
9.6 ppg on 51% eFG and 90% FT
8.6 Assists per game with only 2 turnovers per game
That's a 4.3 A:TO ratio
He provided great man and help defense totaling 17 steals in the series(thats over 3 per game):Also was a near perfect decision maker and passer.

Westbrook:
21.8 ppg on 33% eFG and 80% FT
4.8 Assists per game with 5.2 turnovers per game
That's a sub 1.0 A:TO ratio~absolutely terrible decision maker
Pretty good defender although he didn't even come close to matching kidd's performance.

Again Kidd was the much better point guard in this series. People see 'allstar' and they think the guy is automatically better. Jason Kidd is a wily veteran that plays great defense, and makes great decisions and passes. This is something that is consistently overlooked.

you can't play that card "tool." You can't have it both ways homie.

Kobe has terrible efficiency all the time, yet you kobe nut-huggers praise him to no-end. Westbrook is just a pointguard version of kobe.

SMH at kidd having a better series than westbrook... this kid is a TOOL

thats straight bullshit.

the ONLY year anyone picked the Mavs to go all the way nationally was 07

Yep. Phoenix, LA and San Antonio were always the sexier pick.
