'98 Jordan and Pippen would still destroy James & Wade.

not sure if this year's edition of the heat would pull that off.

Many teams that Jordan beat would destroy the teams in the league today. The Stockton & Malone Jazz, Shaq & Penny Magic, Barkley led Suns, Hakeem & Drexler Rockets, Payton & Kemp Sonics, the Reggie Miller Pacers and the Knicks with Ewing and Starks would dominate the league today.

secondly, none of the teams you listed were as good as the heat. the rockets were trash. don't let the names fool you. they were old, battered and had dealt with injuries all season. hakeem was done after that knee surgery, drexler was retiring. robinson/duncan needed time to adjust. that was a rookie duncan and robinson who had suffered a damn near career-ending injury and that team was garbage outside of those two. the lakers were impressive, i guess.

the heat have too much offense for that jazz team to win. i know you can say the same about the 98 laker team they faced but that laker team was full of inexperienced players who folded under pressure.

garbage?
robinson was still 22/10. it's the same team that would win it the next year.
shaq was already shaq, kobe already an all-star, rick fox, horry, eddie jones weren't young anymore...
they won 56 and 61 respectively. both teams would later become dynasties but had to wait for the jazz to get old to get past them.

Is this a serious question?

No team will ever beat Jordan during his prime in a series. No team from the 1800s up to 2011.

Hence, why Jordan is considered unanimously as the GOAT.

Bulls. Better and smarter team. Plus even older MJ was still intimidating, deadly and with pathological drive to win. If anything, after few games we would see not only Bosh, but also Lebron in fetus position.

Ok this is getting ridiculous. As great of a player as jordan was,he wasnt as good as lebron at 35.Do you expect pippen at 32-33 to stop lebron.Pippen/jordan combo at that stage of their career is not as good as prime lebron and wade
I dont think anyone here understand how good wade/james combo is and how underrated bosh is.With their full lineup haslem/miller they maybe the most versatile team this league has ever seen.

Prime LeBron > 98 Jordan (ish consensus since 2009)

Current Dwyane Wade > 98 Pippen (obvious to anyone who isnt a homer)

Current Chris Bosh = or > 98 Dennis Rodman

The rest of the Bulls supporting cast is > Heat supporting cast.

I'd say Heat in 6.

Like I said before, it comes down to the fact that the Bulls actually run an offense. The heat is too much Lebron or Wade at the top of the key going iso or off a screen. They run the worse offensive schemes in the league...and mostly get away with it because they are so talented. The heat aren't dominating this 2011 bulls though...the games have all been pretty much close. Now what is the main problem with the Bulls? They really only have Rose who can get his own shot. The 98 Bulls have Jordan, who is better than Rose, and than have Pippen who is that 2nd player who can be relied on to get his own shots and score. It's hard to see the Heat beating the 98 bulls when they are having their hands full with this bulls team.

You underestimate Pippen's and Jordan's willpower/will to win/mental toughness.

I am a (HUGE) Heat fan but no way 11 Heat is beating any of (prime) Jordan's teams in a series.

Yeah, and that offense is running SOOOO smoothly against the Heat defense.

19 turnovers in game 4? lol

Rose shooting 36% for the series? lol

The Bulls are shooting in the "low" 30's on their first shots this series on percentage! While the Heat are in the mid to high 40's on first shots in this series!! lol

yeah, what an offense the bullshit bulls are running, huh ?
