There is gonna be some real fireworks when that bell rings.

It's Malignaggi. So I'm assuming you mean firecrackers?

I'm not looking forward to it since it's pretty much a cherry pick by Broner. Paulie has nothing for him. I was looking forward to the Matthyse/Peterson and Donaire/Rigo fights waay more.

Floyd/Canelo has much more build up in my opinion. People have been wanting this fight to be made for at least a year now. Having Floyd fight a young, undefeated fighter who has a huge power and size advantage is definitely more interesting than seeing Broner fight a guy who can't punch his way out of a paper bag.

I'm a fan of Malinaggi's. I think he's one of the realest dudes in boxing but he's past his prime. And although Broner is jumping weight classes..I still think he's gonna hurt Paulie. Paulie's advantage has always been speed when he fought guys but he doesn't even have that advantage vs Broner.

This is not Mayweather/Pacquiao that just got made. Hell, it's not even Mayweather/Mosley or Mayweather/Cotto.

There really been no trash talk between the two other than from De La Hoya. Give it some time when the promotion starts. The promotional Tour actually kicks off next week at the Paulie/Broner fight.

Just because there hasn't been trash talk doesn't mean it's not more anticipated. Trash talk does not really make me more excited to see a fight; skill and the clash of styles does.

After the Hopkins/Murat fight was canceled, the IBF has just ordered Bernard to defend his IBF title vs. Sergey Kovalev. For y'all who never heard of his, he just fought this past weekend h is a beast. think Lucas Matthysee or Gennadiy Golovkin but bigger.

Anyone know where I can find footage of Terrance Crawfords last fight (undercard of Garcia vs JuanMa), I seen him couple times he's very talented and some are saying now that Broner has moved up he's one of the best lightweight out.

He's very good I really enjoyed watching his last few fights he's got very good skills and athletic ability which it's not to common (to have both) to see from Euro fighters but hes def got game when it comes to boxing. He always comes to fight to so US fan's will like him for sure.

The guy Crawford fought was a stiff, he had height and length, but was coming up short on almost every punch. Crawford just kinda toyed with him and counterpunched him the whole night till that lead hook put him down.

IMO Crawford showed way more vs Prescott. He was switching stance, fighting backwards, coming forward, lead right hands the whole package. Kind of a shame he fights for TR though, cause even if he moves up there not much there for him.

This won't be competitive all. Did you see Paulie in his last fight? He got very lucky with a split decision. Only fireworks you'll see are the actual fireworks for the ring entrances.

The undercard fights are more competitive than the main event. And I could care less about trash talking. A good matchup sells itself.

Abner Mares vs. Jhonny Gonzalez and Victor Terrazas vs. Leo Santa Cruz looks to be just about official for August 24th on Showtime.
