How is Paulie sounding much more intelligent than Broner.

i respect Broner though if he actually follows through with his promise about letting the fans pick his next opponent via poll voting.

Because he is. For example, Paulie doesn't waste his money on 18 karat grills for his mouth.

not sure if serious... Paulie is one of the smartest boxers and has great post fight interviews most of the time. Hes also a great boxing commentator and analyst.

Broner is trying to represent the cocky rich kid from the ghetto. Just about anyone will sound smarter than him.

He won't let it happen. I'd like to see the fans vote for his mentor Floyd lol. But honestly, I'd love to see him get ktfo by Thurman at 147 or Matthysse at 140. I even think Crawford and possibly Vasquez beat him at 135.

Paulie's never been knocked out before, why did so many expect a KO? I give that performance a B for Broner and an A for Paulie.

The "next mayweather" should have a 32 year old malignaggi leaking on the floor

He didn't win that fight...

LOL...he's been TKO'd and at least knocked down. Hatton and Khan won by stoppage against him. Cotto and even Cano knocked him down. Broner deserves a D-. Winning a SD against Paulie? That screams mediocrity.

Broner looks so stiff and he has 0 mobility or footwork. I hope when that poll comes out, people vote to put him in there with Matthysse so Lucas can shut him up for good and end the misplaced hype.

He's lucky Brooklyn Paulie has pillows for fists

I gave it a B because he fought no different than his previous fights. It's not he took a step back, I just expected much more from him tonight.

Is Broner your cousin? No way that gets a B bro lol....

Also, you did say this fight would be better than mayweather/canelo which was suspect

He didn't under perform, he just didn't really improve from his last fights. His next fight vs. whoever the fans pick we'll see.

I said it had a better build up, didn't say it would be a better fight. I did say there would be fireworks, was I not right?

Boxing media is trying desperately, along with Broner himself, to sell the "new Mayweather." Problem is...Floyd is still very relevant. So a bad imitation comes across as just that...a bad imitation. Also, while Floyd was brash even in his younger days.....he primarily let his fighting do the talking in those days. At at their respective ages....Floyd was without question the better fighter. Better skill set, better opponents, etc. The fact that people are trying to say that Broner's defense is Floyd like is laughable. The fact that people are comparing him to Floyd in any way is laughable. Even his shit talking antics seem clownish and just plain cheesy compared to Floyd. Broner is getting tagged by B class fighters. Floyd was pitching shutouts against world class fighters like Gino Hernandez and Corrales at a similar age. Broner is getting away by fighting guys smaller than him (lets be real...this guy is already a full fledged welter weight) who also cannot match him physically. The guy is talented....but in no ways proven yet. His defense is incredibly overhyped (his wide stance leaves him prone to getting hit). Lets see how does against some real competition.

Personally, I like watching him fight and I am impressed by his aggressiveness, but he's becoming so full of himself, he's bound to start underestimating future opponents (if he's not doing so already).... and eventually will get dumped on his ass by one of them.

BTW, Broner's dad looks like a serious Gandolfini candidate. I doubt that fat *** had any influence on his son's boxing career.

I thought that's clearly an act. A bad one too. I was surprised at how bad it was at the post fight interview in the ring, like he's reading from a paper.
