Cintron disappoints me every time out. The guy really doesn't want to be in the boxing ring... Not sure he really ever did. It has gotten more pronounced in recent years, though.
He has so much natural talent that he has been able to have a nice career by relying on it, but he has no love for the sport and it is obvious when you watch him fight.
This win by Alvarez shows me absolutely, positively nothing. I'm not saying that he is overrated as a prospect or that he won't eventually post a really nice win over an elite fighter, but beating an old Cintron who wanted nothing to do with a fight tonight tells us nothing.
Calling out Mayweather was kind of funny, though. I just beat Kermit Cintron... Obviously, the logical next step is Floyd Mayweather Jr.
That is to say nothing of the fact that Canelo is a 154-pounder and Floyd is a welterweight. How about you focus on fighting someone actually worth their salt in your own division, buddy?
