Punching power is a funny thing. It's so weird that someone like Bradley doesn't have it. He has all the fast twitch muscle fiber in the world, he's yolked, all he does is practice throwing punches all day, and he punches with bad intentions in his fights. I guess you really are born with it, or not.
I don't know too much about the booking standpoint but could a Tim Bradley Danny Garcia fight happen in the future?
Also, what is the best non Mayweather fight that could be booked right now to appeal to the casual fan to buy.
Tim Bradley vs Danny Garcia is impossible because top rank which is Bradley's promoter and golden boy promotions (Garcia) do absolutely no business together. Mayweather is basically a golden boy fighter too so Bradley would not have the opportunity to fight either unless he leaves top rank after his contract is over which is rumored to be sometime in 2014.
As for your 2nd question, I'm not sure which is the best matchup that would get casual or non-fans excited. But both hbo and showtime are invested in making some of their talent into superstars. In the future, maybe Danny Garcia against broner or golovkin vs andre ward could be big mainstream fights.
Call me crazy, but I think Mayweather's next fight will be against the winner of the Trout/Lare match-up taking place in December. Whoever wins will be the #1 contender for his WBA 154 belt.
I don't think he'll fight Amir Khan, who's last fight was a robbery in which he got knocked down by Julio Diaz who just got whipped by Shawn Porter last month (And Porter, who is now Devon Alexander's opponent, which was supposed to be Khan.)
Jermell Charlo vs. Jose Angel Rodriguez for Charlo’s WBC Continental Americas and USBA Junior Middleweight Championships
Errol Spence Jr. vs. Emmanuel Lartey
Rau'shee Warren vs. Jhon Molina
Jeffrey Fontanez vs. Gerado Zayas
