If Pacquiao was really serious about making the fight happen, he'd drop Arum. He's always been the biggest hurdle standing in the way of this fight happening. As far as I can tell, that hasn't happened.

Actions speak louder than words.

And now manny says he would fight mayweather for charity which is just as laughable.

But besides that, there is a lot of great talent in boxing right now that we should be focusing on instead.

So thats hopefully my one and only mayweather/manny rant for the year lol

I really wish that both of them would retire from boxing. If they aren't going to fight each other they might as well pick the best opponents that's available for them.

Manny Pacquiao vs. BradleyII /Provo at 147, or Mayweather vs. Lara at 154.

He needs to move up to 168. The talent level is much superior in the Super Middleweight Division. We have Groves, Ward, Froch at 168.

Pac should have accepted May's offer of 40 million. Instead he accepted Marquez fight to be KTFO for 20+ million.

they were both at the top of the boxing world at the time and had manny took the $40 mill, may woulda took $100+ mill. From asking for 45-50% to taking 25-30% isnt great negotiating tactics

Pac made a good point though, there is no guarantee that the fight happens if he leaves Top Rank. I mean, was Floyd okay with working with Top Rank the past few times they tried to do this but now he's not? Floyd could still pull the "you lost twice and got KO" card, even if he leaves.

Manny better ask for some kind of guarantee for a Mayweather fight before he leaves Top Rank.

I was under the impression that 'da test' was the only reason the fight hasn't happened.

You're telling me that if Pac hadn't initially balked at said test... Floyd still wouldn't fight because Arum is Manny's promoter

Pac has to sign with Mayweather Promotions first to fight Floyd.

but wait..THERE'S MORE!

I'm just letting you know that he's [Pacquiao] not getting a fight with me. The only way he's getting a fight with me is if he signs with Mayweather Promotions. He's got to give me fights with Mayweather Promotions. If he don't give me no fights under Mayweather Promotions, then he's not getting the fight. That's how it's working now,

Floyd king of demands. If he really wants the fight, should have done it 5 years ago. Cowboy Stadium. Floyd is a great fighter no doubt. I think he will school Pacquiao if they fight but man... he needs to stop talking and fight. He's waiting for Pac to decline, he's done it. Fight Pac.

And after Manny leaves Arum and signs with Mayweather promotions it'll be 'No fight until Pacquiao cuts a rap album with Philthy Rich records!'

I tried explaining this to people back then when they were convinced 'da test' was the reason May didn't want any part of a ring and Pacquiao but they didn't listen. The Mayweathers are convinced that if Floyd gets in the ring with Manny, he (Floyd) will be seriously injured, and they have said as much on the record, several times. 'Da test', Arum, and everything else is all smoke and mirrors. They just don't like the matchup, never have. It's rather simple.

I love to see Floyd defends his 2 154 belts against the best Super welterweight right now Erislandy Lara. Lara deserves a huge payday after he beat Austin trout more convincingly than Canelo.

He had wins over Williams (robbed in this fight), Trout, Angulo, and Carlos Molina.
