Ortiz makes his return tonight. Let's see what he can do, coming off of two defeats in a row. His last win was in April of 2011.

People hate Ortiz because he's an underachiever, and He quit against Maidana. And He also let Mayweather to sucker punched him.

Damn. I think he needs to retire. He's only 26, but just like Amir Khan. I think he's already past his prime.

Wow, very impressive win by Collazo. I really forgot who skilled this guy is. Both were throwing right hooks, but the Collazos' was just tighter and landed cleanly right at the end of the round with one sec left.

Bad game plan by Ortiz. He was overly aggressive, and I don't know why you would bumrush a slick fighter like Collazo looking for a KO right off the bat.

That being said, the gym Ortiz fights out of is called Knuckleheads boxing so maybe that explains it.

Gary Russell was impressive yet again, but enough is enough time for him to step up. Theres' no way he should still be fighting in 8 round fights. HIs promoters need to stop babying him, its only hurting him. He's been around a couple of years now.

Victor Ortiz is the modern day Fernando Vargas. I still pick Vargas because he fought and beat much better boxers.

Victor Ortiz was never the same after that Mayweather fight. Same thing happened to Ricky Hatton and Shane Mosley.

Not really. Before the sucker punched KO. Ortiz was getting his rhythm against Floyd. A very Raw Maidana was the first boxer to beat him, and he showed in that fight that he lacks heart, and defense.

A) Ortiz was ruined long before the Floyd debacle when Maidana beat him up so badly he quit.

B) He was always a C+ fighter at his absolute best.

Ortiz's best win was against another C - fighter in Andre Berto. These guys were exposed once they stepped up to their level of competitions.

Are you saying that Mosley was never the same after he lost to Mayweather? He was practically done before that fight even happened.

Vargas has more heart.
Vargas doesn't give his opponent a strange kiss after applying a headbutt
Vargas doesn't get booed at the Barclays Center.

I really feel @VICIOUSortiz should call it a day and enjoy his young life.

Oscar just fired Victor Ortiz. Will Bob Arum sign him??
