I remember reading that Jay-Z's sports company could be a wild card in the equation. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

It only took a couple of months for 50 Cent to get one.

Really? Interesting.

But I doubt the guys on Haymon's roster will want to sit on the sidelines and wait for Floyd or Schaefer to get their license in a matter of months or more if they can just sign with GB, TR, etc and get big fights for big money. Even if Haymon, Rich, and Floyd start their own promotional outfit, it'll be like the UFC only on a much smaller scale with in-house fights since they don't want to do business with Arum, and I guess Oscar now.

I also read somewhere that Schaefer has a non compete clause in his GB contract. Don't know if that's true. But he said in his resignation announcement that he's still a stock holder in GBP.

They've probably already started working on this. News about a split was rumored months ago.

They'll be an announcement soon, Mayweather said he's picking his opponent in 2 weeks, and that was 2 weeks ago.

There is a huge GBP card in a few weeks on Showtime.

This could be great for boxing, depending how this whole GBP/Haymon fighters thing plays out. Lets see if Oscar and Arum are for real about ending the beef.

If its true that this breakup strated when Oscar wanted to work with Arum, then what a C UNT Schafer is. For all the crap that Arum gets, at least he tried to mend fences. Boxing needs promoters to work together.

Mayweather left too so im assuiming Mayweather Promotions will be legit now. Will be interesting going forward because I think its clear that GBP/TR are levels ahead of everyone else when It comes to promoting.

Sergio's done. Nice career. But he's too old and his body is shot.

Watch him do Cotto like PWill now that I said that
