Is there really a Donaire vs. Rigondeaux discussion transpiring on ISH? Wow. Never thought I would see the day.

Donaire has not been extremely impressive to me over his last few fights and he doesn't seem quite like the dynamic phenom many were anticipating a couple of years ago. Obviously, still a very good fighter, but top P4P level? Nah.

Maybe finding another really good fighter would allow him to show more than he currently is, but I also don't think that will happen at super bantam. There could be some interesting matchups at featherweight, but he doesn't seem all that keen on moving up. I mean, he is 29... Not exactly getting any younger.

I know he just moved up to super bantam a year ago, but it is a pretty weak division.

I think you are underestimating him a little. IMO he's probably 6 or so on the p4p list(Floyd, ward, manny, Sergio, klitschko)

HE is a counter puncher though so he needs the other guy to engage to be exciting.

And rigo is ridiculously overrated

wow, shocking news. This I did not see coming, he was still active on HBO telecasts commentating on fights and training the likes of Wlad/Lee and others. I tried to find out the cause of his passing, but it has not been disclosed.

50 Cent is just one giant .

Ellerbe is right, too. These guys have no idea what they're doing and Arum will take them to the cleaners (already has). These guys are clown shoes.

Curtis signed Gamboa to his new promotional outfit, he's just using Floyd's name to get Yuriorkis' profile up. I think he's smart enough to know that fight is virtually impossible to make. Does any of this seem completely staged to anyone else but me?

Also, RIP Manny Steward

I did think it was all a big publicity stunt.. But got me thinking why would Mayweather hook up with Rick Ross & MMG who everyone knows has beef with 50/G-unit lol

That was my original thought, but aren't all these guys childish enough to partake in a real-life beef such as this? And, isn't it sort of believable that 50 Cent, with his somewhat fledgling career, was looking to latch onto Floyd and become his business 'partner?'

The more I read about it, the more I believe it.

As for Manny, what a loss. I will always remember him as the little badass walking the Hitman into the ring for another KO victory. He is irreplaceable in the boxing world.

LOL these tweets are hilarious. 50 saying Floyd needs allowance from Haymon or he'll go broke, and Floyd saying he respects the shooters.

Don't think Floyd is trying to fight anytime soon, so let's enjoy this one while it last.

The Manny Steward thing was shocking. So abrupt. I didn't even know he was sick.

I wonder what Wlad Klitschko's going to do. Manny really stabilized his career.
