Yes, I've always been a fan of Floyd. Yes, I think a prime Floyd vs. a prime Duran would present some very interesting contrasts in style, talents and demeanors.
But, make no mistake... It should be a compliment for Floyd to be compared to Duran, not the other way around.
Duran was past his prime when he physically and mentally beat down a bigger, younger all-time great in Sugar Ray Leonard. He was WAY past his prime and WAY above his natural weight when he was winning belts at middleweight and taking arguably the greatest champion the weight class has ever seen right down to the wire.
