turns out floyd might be the one using peds after all. and if you read the 2nd part of the article, golden boy tries to cover up every time one of their fighters tested positive.

Its not even just about Floyd, but GBP as a whole and another dark look at the sport itself. It's just gets shadier and shadier.

But I do find it pretty funny that Floyd is the one who supposedly got caught. Out of all the talking he did to Manny. Wonder what the flomos think of this one...gonna put a major spin on it.

You don't have to put spin on it. It's a rumor.

The article says nothing about getting caught.

That happens because he's way more active and initiates so much more than Mayweather. The style overall is very much similar. Broner's arms are short so he has to take to give. Broner also goes to the body more and takes more risk. Broner's defense isn't Floyd's, as Floyd may have the best winning defense ever in the sport. Floyd also has great accuracy - Broner too just not at the same level.

Lawyer's, settlement, recanting statements = caught.

If Floyd doesn't say anything else about the steroid thing when somebody brings it up I would have to believe the article. The only way you quiet that family down is thru the courts.

So Floyd says Manny is using, with no proof at all and everyone believes it.

An article comes out from a reputable site, written by a respectable journalist in Thomas Hauser, showing the dark, inner workings of Golden Boy and how they've handled their drug testing protocol, and everybody just looks the other way?

If you replaced Mayweather and Golden Boy with Pacquiao and Top Rank, yall would be all over this. "FLOYD WAS RIGHT" "LOOK IT'S PROOF MANNY IS USING" "BOB ARUM IS THE ANTICHRIST"!! Raaaaaage!!!

well, top rank is guilty too in a different way..they try to skip the drug tests instead, but when their fighters are caught at least they dont try to hide it. look at chavez jr.

broner is like a more entertaining version of mayweather. floyd jr was actually more offensive-minded when he was at 130.

I'm kinda surprised that no one has mentioned Hector "Macho" Camacho being on life support after getting shot in the jaw last night. There was hope he would survive, but that pretty much got toned down today.

Yeah, just heard a little while ago. Looks like it was drug-related. The guy who was driving the car Macho was in had 10 bags of coke on him. Doesn't look good for a recovery, his mother has to make the decision of whether or not to keep him on life support...

Camacho Sr. is now brain dead according to the latest news. He was a very entertaining boxer during his prime.

RIP Macho.

Never one of my favorite fighters, but that doesn't mean he didn't entertain me. More importantly, he has a family that loved and cared for him.

A true legend of the sport, not necessarily because of his ability as a boxer... but a legend nonetheless.

Must watch fight from Saturday. Brian Viloria vs. Hernan Marquez. One of the best fights I've seen this year.

Met Macho outside NYC several years ago. Traffic jam at Tappan Zee bridge. Absolute parking lot, people just got out of their cars and stood around.

He was a good guy, not at all what I would have expected. Signed a few autographs, then just sat on hood of car chatting. Pretty funny.

Hope his father wins out and his organs are donated. Everyone should be an organ donor. Give the gift of life.
