Wow Trout was way too humble in that post fight interview. He should give himself some credit.

he lost. it was pretty clear in my eyes. Canelo had all the meaningful shots and displayed some pretty good defense.

what do you mean by pretty clear? You had him winning big? Because im sure alot of people could see it in favor of Trout so theres nothing clear here.

It was a very even fight. Canelo landed more solid shots but was very inactive at times.

I could see Trout winning if not for the knockdown. Trout was way busier but Canelo landed 85% of the big shots in this fight.

I had Canelo by a point. Not sure what that one judge saw to give it a 118-109 score, or hell even a 116-111.

There were some rounds where Canelo literally landed one solid shot after sitting back the whole round...

How do the corners know the scorecard during the fight?? Is that normal in boxing?

i didn't have him winning big. just can't see an argument for Trout winning.

Yeah me too, I think this is what separated the fighters in this fight.

So, what is next for each fighter?

Both should move up in weight I think. No one else really left to fight at 154 for them, though Canelo wanted to fight Miguel Cotto.
