Looks like Mark Jackson will finally be getting a job. It's just a matter of which. I feel like whenever there is an opening, he gets an interview but never gets the job. Toronto, GSW, Detroit and probably Minnesota (and Indiana?) all need new coaches. With some guys available: Jackson, Shaw, Adelman, Casey, Frank and Sampson... odds are he'll get a job and I'd say he'd theoretically be a good fit in Detroit.

Praying to God Marc Jackson isn't in any consideration. He has marketed himself well, but he needs to put in the time as an assistant somewhere for a few years before anyone giving him any type of an interview. He just doesn't strike me as a guy capable of achieving success as a top choice. No more experiments.

Bill Laimbeer is the only assistant candidate Pistons should look at. He has Pistons DNA and pedigree, and the smarts to go along with some coaching experience. He has the ability to become that franchise coach if all pans out. Pistons fans are behind him.

Mike Woodson is simply going to be another stepping stone before the Pistons get good again, and he is fired. Just isn't a very exciting hire, although solid.

I would be fully onboard with Adelman hire, but the Pistons might waste his talents on another year or two of rebuilding.

The roster is still a ****ing mess. Major decisions need to be made, and now that Joe D. isn't under an embargo anymore, heads will be shipped out around the States. He just needs to decide on a nucleus that he wants to take forward, and what that nucleus will look like. Personally, I'm far from Sold on Stuckey, so he might need to be let go. BG and CV are 2 years in, with 3 more to go, so they should be tradeable should the management decide. I'm actually ok with Hamilton staying put, he still has game.
