Default How can we as fans enjoy the NBA when

Players like LeBrocka Floppa James is going around flopping as if he were shot or something? It's comprehensively pitiable.

My position hasn't changed on flopping and never will. It's the refs job to make the call on the CONTACT and not the REACTION. The fact that players readily flop so easily is because referees are so pourous at their job. When the officials start doing their job and calling fouls on what they should be...flopping wont' be an issue. I don't see how being savvy and wry can be an insult...because that's exactly what flopper's do...they take advantage of the situation...I call that intelligent.

Refs can't help the fact that their line of sight is going to beblocked on certain plays. Any attempt of a player to actively deceive a ref should be met with a penalty. In Soccer, they hand out cards and suspend players for actively trying to fool the refs. It's time that Basketball followed their lead.

And they supposedly implemented a rule for it in 2008 as I posted in my thread but they never carried it out.

Then don't call a foul...LIKE THEY USED TO NOT before tv ratings went down and the rules were changed to make scoring easier? The way everyone is uppity over flops is hilarious...THE LEAGUE MADE IT LIKE THIS when they changed the rules to make it easier to score so either blame people not watching basketball or those that changed the rules because all this flopping is a product of what they wanted. Don't blame the players for being smart and being clever enough to get the best advantage as they can.

Sorry, but when a player fakes contact, my respect level for him drops. I'm not talking about flopping or selling contact, I'm talking about faking contact. It's cheap and bush league.

True superstars don't flop. They play as competitive as they can. Flopping is only for scrubs.

LeBron is proving that he belongs with the scrubs.
