The Pistons will arm up and retool to specifically beat the Heat.

Default I dont know Shaq

I think this team was built to win it once.

But hey you never know. It will be tough...I really think the Cavs are coming up. And the Mavs will be back and even better next year...they are a young team you know...

this Heat team seemingly turned it on the postseason in Round 2

dangerous mentality especially since Shaq is still deteriorating (DIOP DUNKED ON HIM FOR AN AND1 IN GAME 6), Zo and Payton may not be around much longer, and outside of the Wade, the team is not specifically geared to do much.

the Heat will not repeat.

but Wade will win it again in a few years by himself. Jordan style

The Nets will never make it to the Finals as long as the Pistons have the big 5 and Wade is in Miami

Default .

Those guarantees have become a bit lame. It was something when Riley did it after the Lakers' 87 title, but nowadays you hear those guarantees after every championship and during at least one playoff series a year.

However, chances that Miami wins next year are slim. Wade will only get better, and I like the way how Miami was able to get most out of their players, but there just seems to be more talent in many other teams, and Shaq isn't getting any younger.

If I had to predict what will happen next season, I would say that Suns with healthy Stoudemire, Cavs with a bit more help for Lebron, and Mavericks with a more experienced Harris and maybe a new inside player look like the favourites. Spurs and Pistons will definitely be good too.

If Detroit can get that one dominant guy off the bench... they will return to the finals... they need a SG/SF who can contribute consistently... I think the Pistons should trade their 1st pick next year (via Orlando) for someone who can come in and score at will... or maybe just get Mike James...
