2010 Celtics was actually the best defensive team in the league, even though their rating says otherwise. They took it up a notch in the playoffs.

NBA Finals: 2009

I would say 2002, but that competition was SUPER weak and he wsn't the number 1 option. Magic had good interior defense, and strong defenders at Bryant's position. Courtney Lee and Michael Pietrus are no joke.

Plus his game 1, complete with the Mamba scowl where he dropped 40 / 8 / 8 ... and left the game fairly early =

Kobe stat-padded like a MF in that game He didn't leave early at all really. Even with the Lakers up 25+ in the 4th he kept shooting and shooting to pad that point total. I believe that's the only time he's ever scored 40 points in the Finals and it took him something like 35 shots to do it. It's a shame that was the way he had to go about it.

He was straight BALLIN that game. So I'm not even mad. He did the majority of his scoring in the 3rd when it was still a game. Put some sick moves on the Magic en route to his total, too.

he only scored 4 points in the 4th qtr and he didn't stay in the game the magic cut the 25 lead to 15 in like 3 minutes so he came back in.
