xavi should be over yaya, otherwise the 'official best 11' list is pretty good

Not bad but too much City and no Chelsea? They won the CL after all.
I just cannot stand seeing Kompany in these kind of lists.

As concerns your remark, even if Xavi is better than Touré, a Pirlo-Touré couple is much better than a Pirlo-Xavi one.

the list is about football, not antifootball... so no chelsea here

And yeah but this is just on paper, for example even though Ibra is the best striker, some other strikers like Falcao or Kun would work better alongside Messi and Kiki

So probably the best midfield-forward combo on field is the barca midfield + messi, kiki and falcao
the GK position can be argued between hart, iker, neuer and maybe buffon
now the defense is the hard one... the only obvious choice is lahm whether is left or right back... dani alves has been there the last two seasons... but so far this season? he has been awful... so i cant think of another constantly great full back... hmm maybe baines? he has been great at both ends but doesnt really get any praise, probably because he is stuck at everton... i really dont know, help me out here
the two CB positions are also hard... silva is probably there.... kompany not as of right now.... if pepe wasnt such a headcase i would have gone with him

Kompany hasn't been in great form lately.

Neuer and Casillas are both better GK'ers than Hart and I don't think it's close either.

For center back I'd say Hummels and Ramos both have arguments and I think De Rossi may be better than Toure.

What are the odds on USA crashing out? Could very well happen. Tied on points with Guatemala and Jamaica.

It's incredible how little success Belgium has when looking at their players individually.

Hazard, Kompany, Dembele, Chadli, Courtois, Vermaelen, Vertonghen, Fellaini, Witsel, Defour, De Bruyne, Benteke, Lukaku...

To be fair alot of them are young and just came on the the scene as of late. This is probably Belgium's "golden generation" and they'll be a legit force in Europe in the near future..

What's with this De Rossi overrating now?
Just because City wanted to spend big cash on him?

Every opinion he has is because of the teams he likes, Barcelona, Spain and now Manchester City who he adopted because they are successful and because he thought (very wrongly) that they'd knock off Real in the CL. EVERY SINGLE OPINION.

Chelsea plays anti football is retarded, they brought in a bunch of creative young midfielders in order to play a prettier style. They are not defensive minded except when they did so TO BEAT BARCELONA, which i'd like to note that they did. TWICE. In both legs.

CHELSEA DIDN'T PLAY PRETTY! IT DIDN'T COUNT! THEY SHOULD HAVE ALLOWED MESSI TO SCORE FIVE TIME! ID RESPECT THAT! DEFENSE SUCKS! MAN CITY IS GREAT! THEY SHOULD HAVE BEAT REAL! ****ING RONALDO I HOPE HE DIES!

he was the reason italy didnt get knocked out in the group stage, playing any position the team needed, while the Italian best defender chiellini was awful
and it has nothing to do with city, de rossi is better than 30 millions anyway and his loyalty is what makes him one of the most respected players.
So you think saying De Rossi is arguably the best DM in the world and can be one of the best CBs ( its not like there are any great right now ) is overrating?

And niko wishing someones death is not good!! And dont write in caps lock!!

I love him but the fact that you (and others) have him so high in their rankings only now, when he's been playing at the same level since before 2006, is funny, and a bit suspect.
Same goes with Pirlo being in everyone's mouth only now that he's past his prime.
