Unfortunately Shea isn't in much form either like Dempsey but he will start since he was named captain. Seriously if we don't get 3 points here, we are fuvked. Damn do we need landon. Also doesn't help with the current problem we are supposably having in the locker room and their disdain for our coach.

Injuries couldn't have come at a worse time. The back 4 was already the biggest weakness to begin with and now we're missing our top 5 fullbacks (Cherundolo, Johnson, Chandler, Parkhurst, and Castillo). The only two true fullback options are Tony Beltran and Justin Morrow who are apparently average MLS players with no caps to their name. Geoff Cameron plays FB for Stoke but is our starting CB usually. To compound our defensive woes even more is the fact that CR's strength is their attack and speed. Joel Campbell (a speed demon and on loan from Arsenal to Betis), Bryan Ruiz, and Alavaro Saborio are all very good players.

Shea is apparently still not 100% so I'd rather use him a sub off the bench around the 70 minute mark and start with DaMarcus Beasley. We could use his speed and left foot out wide.

Guzan
Cameron - Edu - Gonzalez - Morrow
Jones - Bradley
Johnson - Dempsey - Beasley
Altidore

I'd like to see Gomez, Shea, and possibly Kljestan as subs if we need them.

That's more than a match, that's a clash of football philosophies. France-Spain should be a good one also, especially when Spain desperately needs the win.

Campbell is a damn good player for a kid his age. He's started a lot of matches for Betis, although he usually gets subbed towards the end. He's crazy, I mean, CRAZY fast and powerful. He also packs a very nice left foot, outstanding shot and decent crosses. He needs to improve his technique and decision making in order to become a really great player, but I think he's quite special.

Need Malta to sneak out a W v Bulgaria, a draw would be just as fine. If Czech and Denmark draw as well, it would be awesome, otherwise, need a Danish win.

Like this unit but I'd prefer Zusi instead of Johnson since Shea isn't fully healthy. Confident that OGo will have a great showing in the CB.

Croatia v Serbia today.. Should be a bloodbath lol.

If we see a 7footer storm the pitch we know it's our very own Jamal from ISH

The USA vs CR game? I hope that's going to be to our advantage (it should be) We gotta play like the nuggets do in there It always sucks for me to watch USA vs CR games since my mom side of the family is CR so they're my second team I've been reading their media and they put a lot of emphasis on the U.S missing Donovan and Howard

This should also actually be a home game for us. I don't think there's a huge costa rican population in Denver so it won't be a hostile situation.. Usually when we play countries like Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras at "home" we play in a hostile environment as more than half of the stadium is filled with latinos..
