Marchetti
Abate- Bonucci- Astori- Pasqual
Aquilani- Pirlo- Montolivo
Florenzi- Osvaldo- Insigne

A bunch of reserves, so who knows about our own results. Bulgaria is undermanned so I can see a draw there. Its just Malta somehow pulling even with the Danes

Those Italian reserves are actually really, really good. The defense could be better, but it's solid, and the midfield and forward lines are outstanding on paper.

Not saying anything about quality, just pointed out its the reserves, which opens up more chances.

A lot has to happen for Russia to fail qualifying for Brazil now.
Other potential qualifiers tonight are:

ENGLAND/UKRAINE
SPAIN
HONDURAS

Ghana are as good as through as well. 6-1 vs. Egypt

Only chance for Egypt if Ghana are fielding an ineligible player (which occurs a lot in Africa)

It's actually a disgrace to Italian football history that Bonucci and Astori (or Ranocchia for that matter) are currently the 3rd and 4th best CBs in Italy. Let's hope that Barzagli and Chiellini stay healthy for the summer.

By the way, Prandelli said that he will step down after the WC.
Candidates for replacing him are currently:
Mancini
Spalletti
Allegri
Conte
Zaccheroni

I sincerely hope to avoid Mancini and Zac. Allegri so-so. As much as I hate him, Conte would fit, but I'd be more happy with Spalletti.
